Mommy, Am I Dumb is about the journey where one has to fight to live and live to fight while dealing with such labels as ADHD and Learning Disabilities Society classifies this as a disorder and the impression is preconceived that one is unable to achieve. The story of Jeff and his mother chronicles the voyage of them navigating through the public school system to ensure that all of his educational accommodations were met. As they faced several pitfalls his mother was determined that Jeff would receive his free and appropriate education. While maneuvering through his path, Jeff gained courage and strength as he provides wisdom to those on his path.This expedition is both enlightening and transforming. It gives hope and guidance to those that may face the same or similar obstacles.
